About the Role

We’re looking for a new full-time Head Chef to lead a new season at The Standard.

The Standard is a long-standing venue nestled in the heart of Northbridge under the ownership of John Parker, alongside other venues such as The Royal and Busselton Pavilion. You’ll have the opportunity to lead a dynamic culinary team and drive a new style at The Standard.

What you possess: 

  • 2+ years experience leadership role in a high-volume restaurant
  • Sound knowledge of food, produce and suppliers.
  • Annual Salary $85k-$95k range excluding superannuation.
  • Head office team (People and Culture, Marketing, Finance) and Brendan Pratt (Culinary Director) supporting and mentoring you

About the venue

Busselton Pavilion is the latest venue to join Parker Group, the team behind prominent Perth venues such as The Royal and Dandelion.

Busselton Pavilion is a multifaceted dining destination in the newly refurbished Busselton Central, recently opened in the new year with great feedback from both industry and locals. The venue is comprised of a wine store, restaurant, beer garden, along with private dining and a mezzanine function space.

About the roles

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to deliver exceptional products and service alongside our venue leaders and wider team. We pride ourselves on high level of customer service, consistency with food and drinks, great banter with our patrons, and a healthy team culture.

This is a full-time role ideal for a Bartender with at least 2 years bar experience in craft cocktails, mixology, beer and wine ready to step up to a Supervisor role. Mentor your bar team, set service standards, and drive our new venue's vision.

Full-time hourly HIGA Level 5 rates with all penalties and leave accruals applying. An annualised salary can also be discussed.

What you bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ bar experience
  • Excellent guest focus and passion for hospitality
  • Positive can-do attitude and approach to all situations
  • Understanding of current food and beverage trends
  • Build and foster positive connection with the local Southwest community and clientele
  • WA RSA certificate, Approved Managers card, Food Safety Certificate and Australian working rights
