About the Company

Parker Group hospitality venues are West Australian owned and operated and aim to exist outside the traditional boundaries of hospitality. With venues sprawling from the coast of the South-West to the heart of Northbridge, our venues are as diverse as each of their distinct personalities. The growing portfolio currently consists of The Royal, Fleur, Willi’s Bar, The Standard, Dandelion, and the newly opened Busselton Pavilion.

About the Role

In the past year, Parker Group has set up a centralised head office team, which supports the venues with Marketing, Finance, and People & Culture.

This role reports to the Finance Business Partner and is full-time based at our head office near Wolf Lane, Perth CBD.

Our Finance team provides timely and accurate financial information to support our Venues and Ownership in decision-making. This role will play a vital part in supporting the Group’s goal to streamline processes, improve financial reporting and the financial acumen of our team.

Key Activities and Role Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring accounts across our venues and handling vendor or management inquiries
  • Performing Accounts Payable functions along with other tasks required
  • Support further development and implementation of streamlined procure to pay procedures
  • Performing weekly revenue and bank reconciliations
  • Performing month end procedures and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or Diploma in either Accounting or a related field
  • Sound experience in AP and accounting software (Xero, Dext)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proven experience in team support and building rapport with stakeholders (suppliers, operations team, lessors etc.)
  • Exposure to reporting analysis with the desire to learn more
  • BAS preparation and lodgement experience a plus but not essential
  • Payroll processing experience a plus but not essential
  • Exposure to the hospitality industry is a plus
